Come shred in honor of @James-Garrett Amayi-Kelley
We will meet at noon on Second-story deck of Copper Station above JJ’s in East Village to gather to gather, share memories, and connect. Feel free to pack a lunch or bring your own snacks to enjoy while we spend time together.
After we gather, we will ride to some of James’s favorite spots on the mountain. We will bring cowbells to hang in the trees in places he loved to ride, so that every ring carries his spirit forward and reminds us that he is still sending us.
The night before, Desert Dwellers will be playing at 10 Mile Hall at 8 pm, and we will dance in celebration.
Thank you for your flexibility as plans came together. It took time to see who was interested and to coordinate schedules, and this date feels more aligned for everyone. It is not spring break, tickets are more affordable, the weather should be better, and most importantly, we get to come together in joy.
This day is about community. It is about riding, remembering, laughing, ringing cowbells, and celebrating a life that brought so many of us together.
