Join us for coffee & conversation with James Thompson. This will be more of an open forum, meant to generate friendly, respectful discussion.
James Thompson is a father, husband, estate planning and civil litigation/personal injury attorney, Army Infantry veteran, cancer survivor, & former 2 time Democratic Nominee for Congress for Kansas’ 4th District.
Wichita Oasis is a non-religious community for people to come together to connect, be inspired, and feel empowered. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings and programming may include featured speakers, live local musicians, potlucks, service projects, game days, and more. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation. For more information, find us at wichitaoasis.org
Kid’s Room. Two experienced and background-checked adults are ready to help make your child's experience at Wichita Oasis as fun and engaging as the main program.
Extension Room. For older kids and adults who don't require supervision but are not interested in the main program, the Extension Room offers a separate space to connect, play, create, and explore. Two background-checked adults will be there hanging out, so you'll never be alone. Feel free to bring a game, craft, book, or other activity to enjoy by yourself or with others.
