Since relocating to Melbourne, 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 has had the opportunity to study and perform with some of Australia’s leading jazz artists, including Sam Anning, Julien Wilson, Andy Sugg, James Bowers, and many more of Melbourne’s finest. He’s excited to share the bandstand with old friends and early local inspirations—from former teachers to long-admired peers.

After moving to New York at age 23, Leo has gone on to perform with some of the city’s most respected jazz musicians, including Joe Farnsworth, Houston Person, George Coleman, and Emmet Cohen. He has studied under renowned artists such as Russell Malone and is now regarded as one of New York’s most in-demand guitarists.
