“Where words fail, music begins.”
It was through his own life experiences that James Gribbon came to understand the truth of these words and how deeply they lie at the heart of his compositions. His piano music explores the emotional depths of love, loss, grief, memory and the experiences that shape us. Even when the journey is difficult, the music always moves towards hope and healing.
Melodic, contemplative and deeply emotional, his work expresses feelings that words alone cannot always convey. In this concert, James will perform several new compositions alongside a selection of his existing piano works.
