After decades of hoping, dreaming and planning for an Australian tour, Big Band Liechtenstein (BBL) is finally coming to our shores this November for the first time ever. Hosting the tour and leading the band will be none other than Australia’s own jazz virtuoso, James Morrison.
Imagine you’re a jazz musician living in the 6th smallest country in the world, and one of the most prolific and accomplished jazz artists in music history invites you to the 6th largest country in the world, on the opposite side of the planet, because he wants to perform a concert tour of his country, with your jazz big band.

After decades of hoping, dreaming and planning for an Australian tour, Big Band Liechtenstein (BBL) is finally coming to our shores this November for the first time ever. Hosting the tour and leading the band will be none other than Australia’s own jazz virtuoso, James Morrison.
While performing in Europe over 20 years ago, James and the BBL band members met for the first time, which sparked a long-standing friendship and mutual respect that continues today.
Together they have electrified concert audiences throughout Europe ever since, and now it’s time for Australian audiences to see and hear, what all the fuss is about.
