James Hamilton LIVE @ The Hampton Inside the NEO SOUL LOUNGE

About Gaslight Preacher
Tagline:
The truth isn’t the sermon; it’s the trap.
Short Description:
Welcome to the multiverse. Messages spit from a pulpit built from smoke, mirrors, and a mash-up of things we don’t admit out loud.
Long Description:
Gaslight Preacher is a raw, high‑voltage performance that fuses spoken word, persona, and psychological theater into a single, unflinching experience. The Preacher bends reality with razor‑sharp language, twisting narratives until the audience feels the pressure of their own assumptions closing in.
Every line hits like a confession you didn’t mean to make; every shift in tone pulls you deeper into the tension between what’s real and what’s merely repeated. Built for crowds who crave pulsating art that pushes back, Gaslight Preacher drags you into a world where belief is dangerous, truth is unstable, and the sermon is never what it seems.
Step in, sit down, and question everything.
About James:
James Hamilton is known for a comet-like energy in live settings, often appearing at open mics and showcases in the US as well as abroad, where he might stop a set to interact with the audience. His delivery is noted for being intense and enlivening.
Hamilton has been described as having a jazz dialect, often using irrational or irreverent phrasing to capture the erratic timing and tangential flavor of his own thoughts. His signature style relies on the palpable passion of his live performance and a creative manipulation of words to create a fresh and unaffected sound.
