REGISTRATION OPENS ON JUNE 1ST AT 8AM

JAMAZO ITALIA is an event dedicated to the practice and celebration of Contact Improvisation in the wider sense.
In this event we gather for 4 days of life and dance. The heart of the event is a daily 6 hour jam that we start and end together.
During the day, before the jam, we have the opportunity to enjoy Genova natural surroundings, go to the beach, walk in the mountains and rest in the park and after the jam there is the possibility of gathering for dinner to enjoy Ligurian food.
We see JAMAZO as a journey that we do all together so we invite those who wish to commit to the FULL 4 DAY JOURNEY with us.
We wish the event to be inviting for everyone with any level of experience in Contact Improvisation.
We support different ways of experiencing and enjoying the long jam, such as: dancing, watching, resting, writing, drawing, reading, sleeping and more.
WE INVITE YOU TO SHARE THIS BEAUTY WITH US: THE BEAUTY OF DEEP DIVING INTO THE DANCE, THE BEAUTY OF SPENDING TIME TOGETHER AND CONNECTING, AND THE BEAUTY OF THE SURROUNDING NATURE IN THIS MOMENT OF THE YEAR
Jamazo was initiated by Autarco Arfini in Rosario, Argentina. We found that it is touching the essence of Contact Improvisation as we perceive it. In 2022 we organised the first Jamazo Italia in Genova with the wish to share this experience with others, also here.

Please notice that the dance space is located inside a public park - so people might be looking in through the windows or even occasionally entering to watch the dance (we put outside an explanation of what we do, with a request for awareness).
From our last year's experience, this was always done with respect and did not create interference, on the contrary - many people became curious about this form of dancing together.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If something occurs after having registered, so that you are no longer able to participate, we will repay you half of the deposit if you cancel by August 1st. After this date, we will not be able to refund you.

MEALS
Each meal, except for Saturday night's buffet, is self-organized.
There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
Detailed information will be sent to the registered ones at the beginning of September.
ACCOMMODATION
You are in charge of managing your accommodation.
These are the convenient options we recommend:
> PRIVATE HOUSES
Possibility to be hosted in shared rooms in private houses for some limited places.
Indicate this in the registration form and we will send you the list of available hosts.
Cost: 10 euros per night.
> CAMPING
In Bogliasco, 15min drive from the dance space.
