Join us at the Queens Hall on Saturday 5th September '26 for Jam for the George Eliot!
Jam for the George Eliot is a charity celebration of live music, community and local talent, raising funds for the George Eliot Hospital Charity 🩷🩵
The hospital charity provides support to enhance care and well being for staff, patients and their families by funding innovative equipment and improving experiences across the hospital.
2026 celebrates 30 years of the George Eliot Hospital charity and we're inviting you, our community to support the 30 for 30 campaign to help the hospital’s special Dorothea unit. The Dorothea unit provides oncology and haematology day care to local patients each week. Their goal is to raise £30,000 to replace the specialist reclining chairs used during chemotherapy and blood related treatments.
Featuring performances from Crucible Band, Bazzar • Band Official, Danielle Read, The Polderlands, plus a special performance by Luck of the Draw - a rock 'n' roll jam featuring members of The Treatment, Roddy Byers Band, Bullet, Breaker, The Hip Priests and more.
The night also includes an open jam session, inviting musicians to come together and keep the music alive.
Every ticket sold helps support the incredible work of the George Eliot Hospital Charity, making this an evening where great music makes a real difference.
Come along, enjoy an unforgettable night of rock and help support a fantastic local cause.
