Jake Clayton has made a name in the Country Music industry as a multi-instrumentalist that can play over 20 instruments extremely well. He has traveled the world playing for Country Music hitmakers on tours headlined by stars such as Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and Alan Jackson (to name a few). He has performed on stage with artists like Brad Paisley & Keith Urban, and he's played on legendary stages like The Grand Ole Opry, Red Rocks, & Madison Square Garden. Most recently, Jake has been the band leader and utility musician for Country Music legend Tanya Tucker. With Tanya, Jake has performed on CMT's Smashing Glass, CMT's Summer Sessions, Austin City Limits, The CMA Awards, Jimmy Fallon, and The Grand Ole Opry.
Jake Clayton has also spent over a decade crafting a unique blend of genre-bending music that mixes old and new Country styles topped off with a full arsenal of roots-based instruments like fiddle, dobro, mandolin, & banjo. The songs on Jake's latest album "Signs" have accumulated over 400,000 streams on Spotify with 2 of the album's videos receiving airtime on TCN (The Country Network). With his own band, Jake Clayton has opened for hitmakers Cole Swindell, Jon Pardi, Granger Smith, Kane Brown, Colt Ford, David Allan Coe, and bluegrass favorites The Yonder Mountain String Band. In 2024-2025 Jake opened a string of dates for Tanya Tucker and received multiple standing ovations. In January 2026, Jake Clayton was a featured artist on StarVista's Country Music Cruise alongside names like Josh Turner, T. Graham Brown, Neal McCoy and others. When Jake is not on the road, you can often find him in the Nashville honky-tonks, where he keeps his pulse on what Country Music fans worldwide love to hear.
