About:
Born in Mumbai, Jainil Mehta is an internationally acclaimed dancer, choreographer, director, producer, and educator whose work beautifully blends contemporary dance, storytelling, and social impact.
A BFA graduate from the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, Jainil is trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Indian Classical & Folk dance. His viral #MenInSkirts movement has inspired a global community of over 250,000 people while challenging gender stereotypes through movement, fashion, and performance.
His work has been featured by BBC News, Good Morning America, ELLE India, Brut India, Humans of Bombay, Hindustan Times, and many more.
