Jaime Blattman Celebration of Life and Memorial Jam

We are gathering to celebrate the life of Jaime Blattman, who passed away June 17, 2026.
Tentatively, the events are as follows:
Doors open at 6pm
Opening ceremony 6:30 - 7:15
Jam 7:20 - 10:20
Closing ceremony/send off: 10:30
If you would like to contribute words, photos or other media to be included in the ceremony and/or slide show, please contact me (Jennifer Harrold). This includes if you'd like to speak about him!
The jam is going to be a little different than usual. It is open to anyone, but there will be a few rules.
- Sign ups are for 12 minute blocks. Please be aware of when you've signed up for and what the time is. If you have to leave before your time slot, please let the host know so things can be shifted around accordingly.
- The blocks will have fill-in spaces for the instrumentation. This means you can sign up your band or sign up along with who you like. There will be some limitations to this, but we'll see how it goes.
- Please be respectful of others and the equipment onstage. Be tuned up and ready to go. After your set is done, please clear the stage for the next group to come up. Please limit yourself to the items set up onstage (amps, pedals, etc.). But if you require something additional, please let us know ahead of time so it can be set up for you.
- I will have Jaime's rig onstage for anyone who wants to play through it. Primarily, his 2010 Fender 5-string Jazz Bass. I just ask that anyone that plays it is kind and gentle to it. Her name is Bernice and she's a good girl. That's what Jaime always said.
The Regal Rooms is kind enough to lend their space free of charge, so this is not a ticketed event. However, donations for the hosting band and the sound engineer are greatly appreciated.
To make contributions ahead of time or if you'd like to do contribute despite being unable to attend, Venmo me @JAHarroldatx with "Memorial" in the subject line and I will make sure to allot the funds accordingly.
I also plan on providing some light snacks. The bar will be open to purchase beverages.
