The eclectic Jade Brothers band is a collaboration of experienced Encinitas/Carlsbad musicians playing songs you typically do not hear. I.e., Dr. John, War, Taj Mahal, The Band, Dylan, The Beach Boys, Jonathan Edwards, Creedence, Muddy Waters, Allman Brothers, John Prine, Warren Zevon, Jackson Brown, Doc Watson, Johnny Cash, Spirit, The Temptations, and even a Talking Heads’ song (Burning Down the House), more. More bluesy than folksy, with some funk thrown in.
