“Jade Avenue: Drag Workshop Series” is designed to be an inclusive, beginner-friendly space where people can explore creativity, confidence, performance, and self-expression through the art of drag. The workshop is open to anyone ages 13+ and welcomes people of all experience levels — whether they are interested in performing, learning more about drag culture, building confidence, or simply trying something new in a supportive environment.
The series will take place weekly on:
• June 11th, 18th, and 25th
• July 2nd, 2026
• 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Willmar Community Center
Each session will include topics such as:
• Movement & Stage Presence
• Drag Makeup Basics
• Character & Drag Persona Creation
• Performance Confidence
• A Mini Drag Showcase Experience
This event is free to attend! Optional donations would support instructors and future workshops. No experience is needed to participate.
