Switch ‘n’ Pitch is happening on Saturday, June 8th at Jacob’s Church Activity Center. So you’ve got several weeks to purge and gather things up to bring!
Switch ‘n’ Pitch is a fun, free way to clear out stuff that you are ready to get rid of, but others might want. Typical types of things people bring to clear from your own home and offer up to others include: Clothing (Men, Women, Children), Shoes, Jewelry, Home Décor/Housewares, Games & Toys, Books, Craft Supplies, etc. Literally anything you are ready to purge and want to give away.
As you bring your items, you’ll be taking a look around at what other friends have brought. You will see “new” things. If you like something, grab it, take it home with you – absolutely free!
Feel free to bring just a little and take home a lot, or bring a ton and go home with nothing. At the end of the day we’ll haul all the rest to Goodwill. Please try to bring things in bags or boxes that you don’t need back, so we can use those to load for donations.
We’ll have extra bags and boxes on hand though, too. And don’t forget to invite other friends, family, and colleagues too! It’s way more fun to clear out stuff that friends might want. In the end, it’s a win-win for everyone!
