The Jacob Benning Band was born in the heart of Sonoma Valley Wine Country in August 2022. Benning's vision to create the North Bay's Premiere Party Band began by combining local Sonoma celebrity, Will Cotter (drums, vocals), and Sonoma State University Music Program Graduate, Kevin Cole (bass, vocals). Today, The Jacob Benning Band now features two more Sonoma State University Music Program Graduates - Nick Carico (drums), and Mario Aparicio (keys, percussions, vocals).
The band performs rock, pop, and country hits from across every era and has done so for 4 years at notable events across the Bay Area, including Sonoma City Party, Sonoma Tuesday Night Market, Glen Ellen Village Fair, Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Fest, Blues, Brews, & BBQ's, The Barlow, Mare Island's Decked Out on the Quarters Festival, and many others.
