As we help travelers discover the best coastal stays, we remain committed to preserving the beauty and health of our oceans. Our beach cleanups bring together volunteers, ocean advocates, and community leaders to remove harmful debris and raise awareness about plastic pollution. By joining us, you’ll be part of a movement to keep our beaches clean and our marine life safe—one piece of trash at a time.
❗Details:
- Volunteers will gather at 503 1st St N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
Please arrive by 8 am for a brief orientation with Cleanup Captain, Avery Hatfield, from Sisters of the Sea, to collect your cleanup bag, and t-shirt (You must register at least 10 days before the event to receive a shirt).
- What to Bring: Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses, gloves of some sort, trash “grabbers” if you have some, comfortable clothing, and closed-toe shoes
- Volunteers of all ages are welcome; however, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- To participate, every participant must review the waiver and register to the link above.
- Community service hours can be certified for students upon request.
- In case of inclement weather, updates will be provided via email.
