About this Event

Come and explore the fascinating history of this wonderful Peterborough resource with local historian Karen Carter-Edwards! The location began as an industrial site before it became a public park in the 1890s. Later the site of an amusement park and then a camp for needy children, the city took over ownership of the park in the 1960s. Discover where the gambler’s den was located, Devil’s Gap, the famous beach, and more.
