GISMO and QHS present Jack's Flushing Walking Tour!
Come see the famous Downtown Flushing and celebrate 250 years of the Kingsland Homestead! Our tour starts at the historic Kingsland Homestead, 143-35 37th Avenue, where you will learn about Flushing’s rich history and vibrant culture!
Led by Queens Historical Society President and Borough Historian, Jason D. Antos, and GISMO President Dara N. Mendeloff.
This tour has been created in Honor of the late Jack Eichenbaum, founder of GISMO and Queens Borough Historian.
The tour will pass by some of Jack’s favorite Flushing historical haunts including the Bowne House, Quaker Meeting House, the New York State National Guard Armory, Flushing Town Hall, the WWI and Civil War Monuments and the former site of the RKO Keith’s movie palace.
