About this Event

The All Greys RUFC invite you to Grange Road as we take on a Jack Merritt Invitational XV, with proceeds going to the charity Break

Join us for the Jack Merritt Memorial Match at Grange Road (1pm, Gates Open; 2pm KO)

The All Greys RUFC at Cambridge University would like to invite you to the Jack Merritt Memorial Match at Grange Road on Saturday, March 7th.

Jack was an exceptional person on and off the rugby pitch, able to connect with everyone who met him. Jack died in the Fishmongers' Hall terrorist attack in November 2019, where he was working to tackle injustice within the prisoner rehabilitation system. A dear friend and teammate, Jack is sorely missed.

In his memory, we are honoured to celebrate Jack’s life through the sport that brought us together. The All Greys will take on an invitational Jack Merritt XV, primarily composed of our Old Boys.

Tickets will be Β£7.00, with all proceeds heading to "Break", a charity chosen by Jack's parents, which works in East Anglia with young people and children on the edges of care, in care, and leaving care: https://break-charity.org/charity/

If you can't attend the Match, or would like to make an extra donation, please consider visiting our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/page/jack-merritt-2026
