Jabberwocky Bookshop is happy to announce the revival of our Silent Book Club! From fiction to history, fantasy, romance, philosophy, thrillers, classics and everything in between, this club is open to all genres and types of readers.Meetings will take place on the third Sunday of every month from 3pm to 5pm in our Green Room Loft. This club is free and open to the reading public.
If you’re new to Silent Book Club, here’s how it works:
- You bring your own book and settle in for about an hour of quiet reading time.
- There will be a short time for socializing at the start, and at least 30 minutes for discussion afterwards.
- Discussion is completely optional, but it can be a great opportunity for readers to introduce themselves and share what book they’re reading, why they chose it, and what they think about it so far.
- You do not have to sign up, buy tickets, or read anything in particular. This is all about personal reading goals and connecting with fellow readers.
- Physical books are encouraged—half the fun is seeing what everyone else has in their hands!
