J9 Domestic Abuse Initiative Training - Exeter
About this Event
J9 Domestic Abuse Initiative Training facilitated by the Devon Domestic Abuse Alliance
The J9 Domestic Abuse Initiative is a community-wide programme that equips local organisations with the knowledge and tools to support individuals experiencing domestic abuse. Named in memory of Janine Mundy, whose life was tragically lost to domestic abuse, J9 creates a network of safe spaces where people can access information, use a phone, or find a moment of privacy to seek help.
What J9 offers partner organisations:
- Training and resources to help staff recognise signs of domestic abuse and respond appropriately
- Branded materials including window stickers and information packs that signal your premises as a safe point of contact
- Connection to a wider support network across Devon, strengthening the local response to domestic abuse
This free online event, facilitated by the Devon Domestic Abuse Alliance, will introduce the initiative, explain how your organisation can become a J9 partner, and outline the practical steps involved.
Whether you're a business, charity, healthcare provider, or community service, joining J9 is a straightforward way to make a meaningful difference.
