ABOUT THE BANDS
J STREITZ AND THE LONG ODDS:
J Streitz and the Long Odds are a Minneapolis based Americana band with a second home in the north woods of Wisconsin. While most of the group calls Minneapolis home, former Mill City resident, singer/songwriter Jason Streitz currently resides in Shell Lake, Wisconsin where he lives with his family and operates a small pottery business, art gallery and live music listening room out of an old one-room schoolhouse. Rural living has afforded Streitz a new perspective. Simultaneously missing city life while enjoying the calm of the woods, Streitz crafted this new batch of songs that has morphed, with full band contributions, into Light Again, the band’s second full length album.
DELLWOOD: Dellwood is a duo of young musicians with enough skill and talent to entertain for hours and a repertoire that's bound to capture the hearts of music lovers of all ages.
They have an energetic and diverse stage presence with songs ranging from originals and Americana to their spin on an assortment of your favorite songs.
FERRIS WHEEL MOON: Ferris Wheel Moon is the acoustic duo of Minneapolis Songwriter / Producer Mark Stockert (Underwood Recording) and Multi-Media Artist Ilia Stockert. The pair met in Toronto, Ontario where Ilia resided, and are currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
At Underwood Recording, Mark has produced hundreds of records for local, national and international artists with critical acclaim including a Grammy nominated album with Brian Setzer (U.S.), as well as ARIA (Australia) and Juno (Canada) winning artists, the Waifs and Danny Michel.
Through her photography and videography work, Ilia has traveled the world filming documentary, music and event-based projects, with clients that include CBC Canada and the Juno Awards.
ABOUT THE VENUE
Nestled in the north woods of Wisconsin, Brickyard Pottery is a pottery studio, art gallery with thirty local artists, a live music venue, and a home all under one roof in an old 1921-built former one-room schoolhouse. With a focus on original music by seasoned musicians, this small, fifty-seat capacity listening room offers an up-close and personal experience for music lovers. But this show will be held OUTSIDE (pending good weather). If it rains, we'll be inside the folk house. There is room for 50 people. In the case of rain, all other tickets purchased after the 50th would be refunded.
