A Message from the Playwright

I’M GOOD was created from a simple question we hear almost every day: “How are you?”Most of us automatically respond, “I’m good,” even when we’re anything but.

After experiencing tremendous loss over the past five years, I found myself in a dark place. Through writing, faith, and the purpose God placed inside of me, I’M GOOD was born.This play tells the stories hidden behind those two simple words. This play touches on grief, fear, loneliness, heartbreak, insecurity, and the pressure to appear like we have it all together.

These are real stories about real people facing real struggles.

My hope is that when you leave the theater, you’ll be reminded that it’s okay to not be okay, and you never have to face it alone.

I’m grateful to step out on faith once again and bring this story to the stage.
