Our neighborhood, Quail Creek in Victoria, TX is coming together to host a I’m a Be-Liver 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run with COTA Fundraiser to spread awareness of Laken Dawdy's rare liver disease, Biliary Atresia, and to celebrate him receiving his life saving liver transplant on June 21, 2024.
Laken is a one-year-old boy from Victoria, who has inspired many to keep fighting and to never give up. 💚 The run/walk will be on January 25, 2025 @ 8:00 am at the Quail Creek Vol Fire Department. All proceeds of this event will be sent to Children Organ Transplant Association (COTA) to help assist in the cost of Laken's medical expenses.
