"I graduated in literature and worked 15 years as an actress and university teacher in Brazil. In 1998 I started to practice yoga and in 2000 I went to study in India for the first time. The universe of yoga became so passionate that, when I returned, I started dedicating myself exclusively to yoga.
I did the teacher training at the Iyengar Yoga Institute Amsterdam. Until 2019 I travelled regularly to India to study with the Iyengar family. I lived 2 years in Cologne, Germany, teaching yoga. I am a Senior Intermediate II certified teacher and I coordinate the Centro Iyengar Yoga São Paulo.
I am lucky and happy to have Gabriella Giubilaro as a mentor. I translate and proofread yoga articles and books.
Together with my husband and our two children, we cultivate and make biweekly donations of organic food to homeless people in Sao Paulo. I am continuously dedicating myself to teach and to organize national and international workshops whose income is donated to NGOs related to indigenous or children´s causes (from NE Brazil, Ethiopia, Palestine, Mumbai, etc.).
My joy is to practice and share yoga, unite people and creative forces so that the world can be fairer, more sustainable, more democratic, more alive."
