On February 19th, 1945, the U.S. invaded Iwo Jima, marking one of the most recognizable battles in history. The Iowa Gold Star Military Museum is commemorating the occasion with our Living History Detachment, guest speakers, free guided tours, and much more. Join us at the museum as we honor the 80th anniversary of Iwo Jima, on Saturday February 15th from 10:30-2:00.
