IWMA-Colorado Chapter Showcase Celebrating Day of the Cowgirl!

Come join us for this roundup of cowgirl poets and western musicians right here in Denver on Sunday Sept 20 starting at 1 pm being presented in the Arts District at Town Hall Collaborative! Featured performers are Susie Knight~Poet from Conifer, CO. Susie is a multi award winning poet and Ringsman for horse auctions around Colorado. Lynne Belle Lewis comes in from Mancos, CO. She and her husband own and run an outfitters business and Lynne has been known to yodel a tune or two while guiding her guests on horseback. Valerie Beard is a rancher from Kim, CO. She and her husband run a Corriente cow and calf operation and she been recognized and honored with multiple awards for her poetry inspired by her life of ranching, teaching, crew cooking and more. Patty Clayton is an urban cowgirl, living just outside of Denver. Her multi award winning music and performances are inspired by her love of the West and her ancestors who were Oregon Trail Pioneers and ranchers in the Pacific Northwest.
