To welcome international students to Belfast, Friends International have organised a day trip to Mount Stewart, a National Trust Property!
About this Event

All current international students studying in Belfast are very welcome!

The trip will be lead by a team of volunteers from local Christian churches and the university Christian Unions. We will travel by mini-bus and personal cars (approximately 45 minutes) to Mount Stewart.

Plan for the Day

The plan is to meet at the Crescent Church car park at 10:00 am to leave at 10:15 am. Crescent Church is located at 6 University Road, Belfast, BT7 1NH. About a 20 minute walk from Elms BT9 and city centre.

We hope to arrive at Mount Stewart by 11:00 am , where you will have a few hours to tour the Mount Stewart house, walk around the world class gardens, and explore the demense (rich landscape of farmed land and woodland walks, with monuments and buildings scattered throughout).
We aim to be back to Crescent Church by 3:00 pm.

We encourage you to check the weather forecast beforehand and dress accordingly, including appropriate shoes (could be muddy terrain), warm layers, waterproof jacket, umbrella, etc. (weather dependent).
There is an indoor cafe for hot and cold drinks, as well as outdoor seating, but you are encouraged to bring a packed lunch and drink.
There is a small cost of just £5 for the day. This includes transportation and entry to Mount Stewart (usually £15).
