IvyKids Event for Middle Grade Readers: Afternoon with Author Maggie Master

Maggie Master, author of the new middle grade novel THE HOPELING, offers an interactive afternoon for young readers! Featuring conversations about reading and being an author, and a magical wish-themed activity related to the book itself.

This event will take place on the Ivy's back patio, so grown-ups can browse in the store or walk the gardens while it takes place.

Maggie Master grew up outside of Philadelphia and chose her writing career at age eleven. Since then, her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, and other publications. The Hopeling is her first YA novel. Maggie lives in Baltimore, Maryland, with her husband, three daughters, and a cat and a dog who do not get along.
