Join us for a very special afternoon to connect with the Plant Spirit of Ivy16th November
3-5pm @ The Fold (Carthouse)
A native plant that lives deep within our folklore & traditions. A medicine woven throughout thousands of years of this land, remembered by our connection to the natural world and the stories of our ancestors.
Experience the healing power of this potent vine as we connect with the spirit of its being. We will explore the historical & energetic wisdom of Ivy the through various techniques & experiential moments.
Historically, Ivy has been associated with dreams & visions, boundaries, connection & manifestation, transforming weakness into strength, protection, the divine feminine, purification, healing & so much more.
Medicinally, it is known to hold antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties, help with colds & coughs, viral infections & rheumatoid arthritis amongst many other benefits.
Ivy is a personal favourite of mine to smudge with and drink as a tea for space and body purification. It is an ally to journey through the lower, middle & upper energetic realms and has the ability to bring the darkness to light and the shadow to the forefront for integration, therefore has a strong association with the underworld
Whilst there are many ways we can work with plants, we will be connecting with the energetic aspect of Ivy. Whichever way this plant reveals itself to you however, is your journey and connection…..allow this ancient being to show you……
