Come join your fellow iUniversity Prep families in packing snack bags for Lovepacs at the Truck Yard in The Colony on Friday, Nov. 14, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. for food-insecure students in North Texas. Please bring a suggested minimum of 24 individually-wrapped snacks. We will also have supplies to create cards to include in holiday food boxes to distribute in December. After packing bags and making cards, we will stay to enjoy the food trucks and lawn games and maybe even check out the Toilet Seat Museum.Lovepacs is a nonprofit organization created to provide meals to students, who would otherwise go hungry without meals on campus. Through coordination with local schools and volunteers, Lovepacs feeds over 8,000 children across North and Central Texas each school holiday. More info at Lovepacs.org.
