AUDITION DETAILS BELOW!!! ✨IUMTF is the inter-university musical theatre festival, where multiple universities from across the UK perform and compete against each other in 3 different numbers. Being the UK's only musical theatre competition for universities, this is a super exciting opportunity and is always so much fun to be a part of!! This includes an ensemble number, small group number and a solo number.
This year the competition will take place in Durham - the date is TBC but estimated Saturday 25th April!
We have three rounds of auditions:
First we have our main performance group auditions THIS WEEK on the 6th-8th February, which will be for the large ensemble number. Each of these auditions will take up a 30 minute slot. You will do a range test, sing a musical theatre song of your choice and learn a short dance! We have solo auditions on the 11th February. You can be in both the large ensemble and solo performances, but you do not have to do both. Please audition for this with the song you would like to perform at the competition!
Small Group auditions are TBA as we are waiting for the announcement of this year's theme.
Get signing up as spaces are limited!!! Links for the audition form and sign up sheet are in the linktree in the bio and can also be found on the Facebook event (please fill out both forms). Make sure you are signing up for the correct audition day!
