About this Event
Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church in Houston invites you to a monthly environmental education web meeting series whose theme in 2024 is Restoration, Renewal & Regeneration.
Ecological restorations are commonly used to improve degraded and destroyed ecosystems. Often, restoring biotic interactions is necessary to restore biological diversity and ecosystem services. Microbial communities play key roles natural ecosystems. However, until recently, they were rarely considered during ecological restorations. Join Professor Kerri Crawford of the University of Houston as she discusses why, when, and how restoration practitioners are using microbes to restore nature. Time for interactive Q&A with the speaker will be provided. This program will be recorded and the recording distributed to all registrants. Contact Lisa Brenskelle at [email protected] with any questions. Please register for this talk on www.eventbrite.com at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1035008938597.
