The skills you learn in Toastmasters can give you the confidence and practice you need to land your next position. It can give you a leg up because you’ll be able to communicate more effectively. You can also hone your leadership skills in a safe, relaxed atmosphere. Plus, who doesn’t want to add Toastmasters to their resume?
At Thursday’s presentation, we’ll give you a taste of a typical Toastmasters meeting so you know what to expect. We’ll also cover the different types of Toastmasters clubs and what to look for in a club. If you’re looking for value in an organization, Toastmasters is one of the best deals around!

Speaker’s Bio:
Diane Pleuss is a past Distinguished District Director for Toastmasters and was responsible for over 150 clubs and 2500 members in Northern CA. She joined at the urging of a friend and now enjoys sharing the benefits of Toastmasters.
Professionally, Diane has an MBA, is the Secretary of her alma mater’s Foundation Board of Directors, is past president of two different advertising associations and just celebrated 20 years as a franchise business consultant with FranChoice. She frequently works with people in career transition to help them determine if a franchise might be a good option for them.
