On Saturday, September 28, join us at 10:00 AM for an exciting panel discussion at the Faulkner! The LGBTQ+ History in Mississippian Panel will bring together three individuals who have made and are making history in Mississippi and share their stories about early LGBTQ+ rights and activism as well as how we continue to make history.
Panelists include Jack Myers, former gay bar owner and advocate for LGBTQ people in the central Mississippi region; Gus Daniels-Washington, founder of JXNOLOGY, a youth-led and trans-led activism and wellness collective; and Charlene Barker, activist for equal rights throughout the South.
This in-person event is part of the It’s Pride Y”all 2024 Panel Discussion Series, aimed at fostering dialogue and inspiring action. FREE TO ATTEND
