It's Your Carmarthenshire - Cross Sector County Forum

If you live or work in Carmarthenshire, you are warmly invited to join us for this exciting one-day event in Parc y Scarlets on Wednesday 15th July. It's a chance to come together with a diverse mix of businesses, organisations and people, to make connections, share ideas, and hear updates on a range of important topics.

Alongside a showcase of local buisnesses, the event will include an open agenda with interactive discussion groups that YOU can lead or take part in. These sessions will focus on five key missions that are central to the future wellbeing of the county:

• Stronger Local Supply Chains
• Youth Empowerment
• Green Economy
• Community Action
• Positive News and Local Media

As well as interactive discussions on these themes, you’ll hear from a range of local organisations, and gain a broader perspective on everything that’s happening across Carmarthenshire.

It’s also your opportunity to share information from your own community, organisation or business.

This event aims to increase everyone’s awareness of what’s happening, and create potential for new partnerships and new ways of working to address the challenges and opportunities we are all facing.

Who is it for?

On the 15th July, a broad mix of Carmarthenshire people will come together in Parc y Scarlets, and when we say, “everyone is invited”, we really mean it. The whole point is to bring together a wide variety of views and perspectives, and to allow for new voices to be heard. Local businesses, local residents, and organisations of every shape and size. Young people, older people, long term residents and new arrivals. Everyone has something of value to offer to the conversation, and you never know what opportunities you might discover throughout the day. Be part of it!

Who is organising it?

This independent event is organised by 4theRegion. We are a community interest company (which means we are Not For Profit), and our “community of interest” is the people and small businesses of South West Wales. With our members and partners in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, we are on a mission to co-create a happier, healthier region with a thriving economy. We believe that to achieve that vision, we all need to WORK TOGETHER. Everyone has a role to play, including YOU. Our role is to hold events that create change, and our mantra is Positivity, Collaboration and Empowerment.
