Join us on Saturday February 1st at 6PM for a fun new event at The Depot - A Hot Sauce making class & friendly competition taught by G Willikers Catering!A variety of ingredients will be provided for each team* (split up by Mild, Medium & Spicy) to make your own unique creations. The main key ingredients are spice (peppers, extracts, etc.), acid (vinegar, lemon/lime), and sugar (granulated, honey, fruit, etc.) plus whatever other “flare” your team wants to incorporate into the sauce to make it stand out...this is a friendly competition after all :)
Class Overview:
Introduction about hot sauces and which components work best
Look over and select ingredients
Constructing of hot sauces while G Willikers Catering walks around answering questions/helping out
Judging which sauce is the winner
Tickets are $30 per person**
Each member of the winning team* will get a voucher for an order of (6) bone-in wings at Nellys Pub & Grill with the hot sauce they created on them! Also, the winning team's hot sauce will be featured on the menu as a special in the restaurant for a period of time...how cool is that?! Also, each person will get to take home their teams' sauce creation in 1.75 oz bottles with sealable tops.
*During checkout, please choose the ticket based on the spice level you want to create (Mild, Medium or Spicy). You will be put on teams based on the spice level you choose.
