Through stories both absurd and profound, Beth explores manifestation, recovery, rebirth, angel healings, existential dread, and what's really going on in this so-called New Age. With original music by acclaimed composer and musical director Mitch Kaplan, Beth uses comedy, storytelling, and song to weave together the threads of creating UnCabaret, getting sober, a life-changing eviction, unexpected encounters with rabbis and healers, and the surprising ways we continually become new versions of ourselves.

ABOUT BETH LAPIDES
Beth Lapides is a comedian, storyteller, author, speaker, coach, and the creator and host of UnCabaret, the groundbreaking show that helped redefine alternative comedy and launched generations of innovative performers. Called the "Godmother of Alternative Comedy" by the Los Angeles Times, she has spent more than three decades creating spaces where humor, humanity, and risk-taking thrive.

Her work has been featured on Comedy Central, NPR, PBS, CNN, and in publications ranging from The New Yorker to The Los Angeles Times. Her original audiobook, So You Need To Decide, was named one of Vulture's Best Comedy Books of 2022, and Variety called it "a potentially life-changing treasure."

As a performer, Beth's solo shows have been presented at theaters, festivals, cultural centers, and colleges across North America. She is also the founder of The Infinite Creator, her coaching and creative development practice dedicated to helping people bring meaningful projects and new possibilities to life. Through comedy, storytelling, music, coaching, and conversation, she continues to explore creativity, change, and what it means to be fully alive.

Mitch Kaplan is a composer, musical director, performer, and educator who has worked with acclaimed artists including Sandra Bernhard, Ana Gasteyer, and many of today's most distinctive voices in comedy, music, and theater.
A longtime creative collaborator with Beth Lapides, Mitch brings his signature blend of musicianship, humor, and heart to It's A Lot, helping shape the show's unique mix of storytelling and song.

SUE WOLF

Director

Sue Wolf is an award-winning director whose work spans theater, television, and comedy. Her directing credits include projects for HBO, ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX, as well as HBO's acclaimed One Night Stand comedy specials.

Known for her ability to develop new work and help artists bring deeply personal stories to the stage, Sue combines rigor, compassion, and a keen eye for both comedy and emotional truth.
