It’s Open Studios at I Street Art: Saturday Sept 12 10-8pm. Sunday Sept 13 10-5 pm.

4 Artists, 2 Workshops, and a Community Art Project! Lots to do and see at this historic and quirky working gallery site which has been recognized as Sacramento’s Favorite Art Gallery. Artists Pam Avery, Kathleen S. Farros, Lori Franz and Linda Zempel have planned a fun experience for you. Enjoy their studios, filled with their diverse and lively works. Engage in creating your own clay head figure on Saturday or a clay slab technique animal on Sunday. Join in the vision of a neighborhood quilt by contributing your own creative square.  Visit with the artists! Add to your art!

Workshop 1: Clay head creations. Age 13 and up. Saturday 11 am with Pam Avery

Workshop 2: Animals of a Kindred Spirit. Age 10 and up. Sunday 11 am with Kathleen S. Farros

The Community Art Project: All day Saturday and Sunday. Join the art making!
