Gather your family, grab your friends, double-dare your co-workers and start a Polar Plunge Team! You can also join us as an individual if you like, just be ready to get wet! Collect donations to help sponsor your plunge in support of local Special Olympics New York athletes. Every dollar donated makes a difference!
Special Olympics New York Mission: Special Olympics New York provides inclusive opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities, who compete in Olympic-style, coached sports. Be a hero and raise $500 by February 8th to sponsor a local Special Olympic Athlete—including State Games experience. Your name will go on the back of our official Plunge hoodies!
Cool School Challenge: Get your school involved in the Cool School Challenge! You could win a scholarship, popsicle party, Cool School trophy, school's logo on the back of next year's hoodie, AND ultimate bragging rights!

Plunge Cup: The top fundraising first responder team will win the Plunge Cup trophy, and the opportunity to carry in the "Flame of Hope" with Special Olympics New York athletes on the day of the Plunge. *winner chosen Friday March 21st at 5:00pm*
Team Banner: Be a banner team! Raise $1,500 by Friday, March 1st, and receive this Plunge Banner to parade into the waters of Cayuga Lake!
