ITE WA August Technical Session

Pierce County adopted its Vision Zero Action Plan in April 2025. Since then, the County has successfully applied for further grants to fund safety projects, and is continuing the work to eliminate fatalities and serious injuries in unincorporated areas. This presentation will go into more detail on some of the projects that have been implemented or programed, the County's further planning around Vision Zero, and the unique challenges faced in advancing safety in the variety of urban and rural areas in Washington State's most populus County by unincorporated residents.
