Italy vs Spain: The Battle of Traditions

Italy and Spain have argued about food for centuries. On September 25th, in a kitchen showroom on Tremont Street, they settle it over dinner.
VETTii Cucina and Ibéricos Fine Food are hosting one night only: two kitchens, two traditions, one table of 40 guests.
On the Italian side: San Daniele DOP, a trio of cheeses with their own pairings, bruschettine, and polpette al sugo — plus pasta e patate napoletana, finished with fresh black truffle shaved at the table.
On the Spanish side: 100% acorn-fed Ibérico ham, carved to order at a live knife station — pintxos of truffled cheese and anchovy, crispy patatas bravas, wild mushroom croquetas with black truffle, and a paella of Ibérico pork tenderloin with caramelized figs, shishito peppers and Pedro Ximénez.
To finish, both sides: Tiramisù against Basque torrija, caramelized, with a wild berry reduction.
Wine included. You decide who wins.
