Celebrate and connect with our ever-growing Central Vermont village 💜
Join us for It Takes a Village, Good Beginnings’ annual family-friendly community event and fundraiser!
This free, open-to-all gathering is designed especially for families in the pregnancy and early parenting years — and anyone who loves and supports them.
Come enjoy:
• Face painting and several kids’ craft activities & games
• Storytime and live music
• A silent auction filled with local goods and experiences
• Babywearing information and hands-on support
• Local doulas, lactation support, pediatric and family wellness resources
• Dozens of community organizations offering connection and practical support
Whether you’re expecting, holding a newborn, chasing a toddler, or supporting someone who is — this event is about building real-life community. It’s a chance to meet other parents, learn what resources are available locally, and feel the strength of our Central Vermont village.
Hosted in partnership with the Central Vermont Perinatal mental health coalition, It Takes a Village raises critical funds to support Good Beginnings’ free programs — including in-home postpartum support, caregiver meetups, and educational workshops — while increasing awareness of perinatal mental health so families can thrive during this important season of life.
