WHAT TO EXPECT:

Michigan State University alum and Grubhub co-founder Matt Maloney will share how he built a food delivery service from a scrappy startup into a $2+ billion IPO success.

PRESENTER:

Matt Maloney is the cofounder and former CEO of GrubHub (NYSE:GRUB), the nation’s leading online and mobile food ordering and delivery service, operating in over 800 U.S. cities and London. Under his leadership, GrubHub expanded rapidly, completing five rounds of investment funding, acquiring DotMenu, and launching the OrderHub platform. He also led the company’s move into food delivery through acquisitions of DiningIn and Restaurants on the Run.

Maloney serves on the advisory board of the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago, is a member of ChicagoNEXT, and sits on the board of Merge Healthcare. He was named one of Fortune’s top 50 businesspeople of 2014 and regularly contributes to The Wall Street Journal’s Accelerators blog.

He earned a BS from Michigan State University and dual master’s degrees in business administration and computer science from the University of Chicago.
