ISÄT MEIDÄN"Isät meidän" on jaettu prosessi itsensä kanssa sovinnontekemiseen. Neljä ihmistä jakaa omat prosessinsa yleisölle. Työryhmä koostuu neljästä henkilöstä, jotka kaikki ovat syntymässään miehiä.
Tämä esitys on ensimmäinen askel Men Impossible -projektiin, joka tavoittelee keskustelualustan luomista miehenmuodostusprosesseista yhteiskunnassamme - 'miesten' taholta kaikille. Tässä projektissa 'miesten' määritelmä tarkoittaa henkilöitä, jotka on määritelty miehiksi syntymässä.
Tämä perustuu Iwaokan ajatukseen keskittyä yhteiskunnallisiin vaikutuksiin ja vaikutuksiin miehenmuodostusprosesseissa aina ennen 'tulevaa miestä', jota yhteiskunta jo odottaa.
Vaikka Iwaoka, joka on pojan isä, tunnistaa itsensä (vielä) mieheksi, hän toivoo, että Men Impossible -projekti voi auttaa paitsi 'miehiä' myös kaikkia muita ymmärtämään toisiaan ja tekemään yhteiskunnastamme paremman paikan kaikille.
Työryhmä hyödyntää esityksessä henkilökohtaisia taustojaan ja tarinoitaan abstrakteilla, konkreettisilla ja runollisilla tavoilla, toivoen, että jokainen katsoja voi löytää oman yhteyden elämäänsä tämän elämyksellisen esityksen kautta.

ISÄT MEIDÄN
"Isät meidän" is a shared process of making peace with oneself. The group of four people contributes their processes to share with the public. This working group consists of four who are all male assigned at birth.
This performance is the first step of the Men Impossible project that aims to build a platform for discourse on man-making processes in our societies - by 'men' for all. In this project its definition of 'men' is people who are male assigned at birth.
This is based on Iwaoka's idea to (be able to) have a focus on the societal influences and impacts on man-making processes right from, or even before, the birth of that 'future man' which the society already expects. While Iwaoka, who is a father of a boy, (still) identifies himself as a male being, he wishes the Men Impossible project can help not only 'men' but also all the others to help understand each other and make our societies a better place for all.
The working group utilises personal backgrounds and stories in the performance in abstract, concrete and poetic ways, hoping that each audience member can find their ways to connect to their own lives by experiencing this live performance.
