It has been a long time since we’ve hosted a seminar like this, and we’re excited to bring everyone together again. While the workout will be focused on Isshinryu, we also plan to include additional instructors to broaden the experience.
Master Kyle Forrest and Sensei Rebecca Forrest are facing significant medical challenges this year, and we would like to use this event as an opportunity to support them. Master Forrest is recovering from severe lung damage caused by pneumonia and influenza; part of his lungs are only partially functioning. Although this occurred a year ago, he is still under medical care and has not been cleared to return to work. Sensei Rebecca will be undergoing surgery on February 6th and will also be out of work during her recovery.
Details are still being finalized, but the seminar is scheduled for Saturday, February 21st, at Kyoshi Dean Scott’s dojo in Apex, NC. More information will be shared soon.
