The Annual IOW Morris Minor Rally is being held on Sunday 31 August.Our hugely successful Rally will be held this year on Sunday 31 August. Once again the event takes place at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet.
Everyone is welcome to attend, and best of all, entry is completely free. Please bring your Morris Minor (or other classic car) to display on the Event field, it doesn’t have to be “show condition”.
Camping facilities are available on site from Friday 29 August, at a cost of £5 per pitch, payable at the event.
Please do note that you will need to be parked on the Event field no later than 9.30am, and there are no vehicle movements until the show closes. This is to comply the Railway’s strict health and safety policy, as it is a working railway with trains running and passengers moving around throughout the day.
If you travelling to the event from the mainland, please take advantage of the 15% off ferry crossings kindly provided by Wightlink. CLICK HERE for the booking page. You will also have to put ‘MORRISMINOR’ in the “Reference” Box which will appear at the YOUR DETAILS stage of the booking process.
As always there are additional events that form part of our Rally Weekend. On Saturday 30 August in the afternoon will be our popular Drive Out to a local attraction (to be confirmed). Also on Saturday evening we fire up the barbecue on the Railway Event field, please bring your own food for grilling. Rolls and accompaniments will be provided.
Finally on Sunday evening, after the Rally, we’ll be meeting for dinner at Appley Manor.
