Island Model United Nations Conference

Island Model United Nations (Island MUN) is an annual student-run Model United Nations Conference at Encinal Jr. Sr. High School. We are committed to providing a fun learning experience to those starting in MUN and an opportunity for engaging practice for those with experience. Dozens of high school students all over the bay come to Encinal to participate in Island MUN annually. Our mission aims to provide a place where students can engage with international affairs, develop essential diplomatic and public speaking skills, and explore diverse perspectives on global challenges. As a conference created and led by students, Island MUN nurtures leadership, fosters critical thinking, and creates an inclusive environment where every delegate is encouraged to learn.
