ISEP Pathways to Net Zero

The ISEP Pathways to Net Zero course supports organisations and professionals who are beginning, or strengthening, their response to the climate challenge. Designed for those with responsibility for sustainability, carbon reduction or strategic decision‑making, the course provides a clear and practical introduction to Net Zero and its relevance across a wide range of sectors.

Learners will develop a strong understanding of why Net Zero matters, exploring the climate science, policy drivers and business considerations shaping organisational action. The course introduces the key principles of carbon management, including greenhouse gas accounting, carbon neutrality and science‑based targets, helping participants understand how emissions are measured and how credible reduction strategies are developed.

With a strong focus on real‑world application, the course considers how organisations can plan and deliver effective decarbonisation. Participants will explore governance, accountability and resourcing, alongside the risks and opportunities Net Zero presents for organisational resilience, reputation and long‑term performance. The course also addresses how emissions can be reduced across the value chain and how organisations can communicate their Net Zero commitments clearly and responsibly.

On completion, learners will be better equipped to support or lead Net Zero initiatives within their organisation, contributing to informed decision‑making, practical action and meaningful progress towards long‑term sustainability goals.
