Dana Turner is CISO at Union Bank and Trust (ubt.com), a family-owned Nebraska institution where he has spent 34 years in nearly every IT role, starting as the bank's first IT employee. He serves on the FS-ISAC Global Board of Directors, holding a reserved seat for community institutions. Dana is a co-founder of Cyber Strong Nebraska, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening cyber resiliency across the state, and serves as Board Secretary. He is also Financial Services Sector Chief for Nebraska InfraGard and part of the team behind Cyber Tatanka, now in its fifth year. A CISSP holder, Dana speaks and writes as "The Unconventional CISO", known for direct, no-nonsense takes on security leadership.
